New Wonder of the World

Petra was named one of the New 7 Wonders of the World in 2007 and hopefully you can get a feel for why through these photos and from my previous post. I'm exhausted so I'll let the pics do the talking... Stay tuned for the last part of the Petra series in a few days!

Cave dwellings and city of Petra...

The Great Temple and Colonnade Street

Camel Monument...

The Monastery... hand carved mountain. Second most popular attraction in Petra after The Treasury.

How adorable are little donkeys!!?! Look at the tiny black one.. too cute.

Gorgeous pics! What camera do you use? The Petra reminds me so much of Uluru in Australia.

you, darling, seriously travel to the coolest of places! I've been dying to see Petra since the day (many years ago) when I saw a National Geo documentary about it. It's beyond my imagination how amazing it would be to be there.
